Drawing upon her many years of experience in retirement planning and particular expertise in distribution strategies, Beth Blecker provides clients approaching their retirement years with proactive financial management, encouraging them to take active roles in creating their own customized investment portfolios.
A long-time member of Ed Slott Master Elite Advisors, an organization of financial advisors dedicated to serving as leaders in the IRA industry, Beth teaches retirement planning and distribution strategies to local CPA groups and corporations, as well as at various financial services industry events.
Beth has long been involved in helping women develop financial literacy. She offers regular workshops and has hosted a weekly internet show, Taking Control: Financial Independence for Women (translated for the hearing-impaired). She is also past President of the Roc kland B us i ness Women’s N etw or k , a non-profit organization that supports and empowers women by providing networking and educational opportunities.
A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Beth helped launch Eastern Planning in 1995 after a 20-year career in corporate and public accounting. In 2000, she took over as CEO and has grown Eastern Planning into a firm known for its personal, practical advice and superior client service.
Beth’s passionate interest in her community has inspired her to volunteer in many areas. She serves on the board of People to People and Saint Thomas Aquinas College President’s Council and as a Big Sister with the Rockland County Big Brother Big Sister program. An active tennis player, Beth also loves spending time with her young grandchildren, Reid, Spencer and Harrison.
