We are postponing events until the COVID-19 health crisis warnings have been lifted. Stay Healthy!!!The Nanuet Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Keep Rockland Beautiful have set April 25, 2020 as Nanuet Community Cleanup Day.Harley Davidson in Nanuet is hosting the organizers from the Chamber and KRB who will provide locations and supplies e.g. grabbers, garbage bags, recycle bags, safety vests, etc. to all the volunteers and families who will participate in the Keep Rockland Beautiful cleanup.Coffee, juice and donuts willbe available for the participants.... Share space with a neighbor or friend.Admission is FREE to public.Event Details:All registration fees will go to support Nanuet and Beyond, Inc.The event will be held in front of MacArthur Barr Middle SchoolEach selling space is equal to an approximate width of 10 feetSetup time starts at 8:00 AM and must be complete by 9:30 AM. No vehicles will be allowed in the yard sale area until after 3 PM.Sell those unused items, old tools, clothes, pots & pans, no longer used children's toys, etc. Anything you would sell at your own garage sale! "One person's junk is another person's treasure." Participants retain their own revenues.Each participant will be responsible for removing any unsold items before being approved to leave the selling area at the end of the day.Other selling vendors are also welcome.We are requesting that anyone planning on participating complete the online registration form below to help us anticipate total space requirements. Last year we attracted roughly 15,000 people and there is something for everyone! Enjoy our opening offer of coffee and danish and free raffles for money to be used for any vendor at the fair. We have kid rides, great food, and live entertainment all day long. Our speaker system extends the entire length of the fair. The first 500 families to stop by the Chamber booth will receive a free gift bag! Nanuet Tree Lighting Celebration

The Nanuet HS Junior Chamber is planning an even bigger and better event this year.The Nanuet Junior Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce Nanuet’s Tree Lighting Celebration to be held Saturday, December 5 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on W. Orchard St. (directly across from the Nanuet post office).Coordinated almost entirely by the Nanuet Junior Chamber club, the event will feature a tree lighting, Santa as the star attraction, along with live entertainment, food offered by local restaurants, etc.. Meanwhile, the Nanuet Chamber is working with several volunteers and the Town of Clarkstown to enhance the area in time for this year's Tree Lighting Celebration with a new tree and improved decorations.... What can I say about our new Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce????
For starters, let's admit that God has been very generous in providing us with outstanding, talented, and very hard working leaders. I always come away from meetings thinking, " how the hell do they do so much??"

There are so many persons that have been involved that I dare not try to name them all. Of course the main threesome that should be cloned are Risa, George, and Susan. This dynamic trio never run out of ideas and are able to get others to participate in their projects.


I have been more of a cheerleader than an active player.....I hope to continue shouting encouragement from the sidelines for years to come.
