The discussion will feature Rockland Business Association President and CEO Al Samuels and who will provide insight into current New York State legislative actions that can and will affect small businesses in Rockland County. In addition, Jeremy L Schulman, Director of Economic Development & Tourism for Rockland County, will provide insight into small business growth opportunities by highlighting several case studies in various market sectors. He will offer industry insights by walking through how each business used local tools, experiential commerce, B2B connections, market need, and the changing economy to grow their Rockland-based business. The event, which is co-sponsored by the Chamber Alliance of Rockland, will also feature roundtable networking to foster referrals across industries. The event will include a Continental Breakfast. All Chambers of Commerce in Rockland are encouraged to share the information with their members who will receive a discount. The morning will start at 7:30 am with networking and run through 10:00 am. 2020 Art & Culture Contest

Join us for our 6th Annual Art Contest and Exhibition Reception featuring art from students K-12 in the Nanuet Schools. This year's theme is "20/20 Vision."This special event is held in partnership with the Nanuet School District’s Art Department.Beginning March 13th and running through March 20th, approximately 100 works of art created by the Nanuet schools students will be displayed at shops and restaurants throughout Nanuet. (A list of locations will be noted on our website a few days before the art is displayed). On March 21st all of the art will be on display at Raymour & Flanigan, 43 Hutton Avenue, Nanuet for the week before the reception.On March 27, (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM) participating students will be honored with a reception at Raymour & Flanigan. The art will be judged in advance of the display by local artists, sculptors and art teachers. Prizes will be awarded to the top artist in each category along with 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention prizes…PLUS a Grand Prize Winner!Our prior events have been an enormous success with art from students in all grades and more than 150 people attend who view the beautiful artwork from 100 talented students. No vehicles will be allowed in the yard sale area until after 3 PM.Sell those unused items, old tools, clothes, pots & pans, no longer used children's toys, etc. Anything you would sell at your own garage sale! "One person's junk is another person's treasure." The Nanuet HS Junior Chamber is planning an even bigger and better event this year.The Nanuet Junior Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce Nanuet’s Tree Lighting Celebration to be held Saturday, December 5 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on W. Orchard St. (directly across from the Nanuet post office).Coordinated almost entirely by the Nanuet Junior Chamber club, the event will feature a tree lighting, Santa as the star attraction, along with live entertainment, food offered by local restaurants, etc..
