It is with deep sadness that the Chamber has lost an amazing soul. George J. Mollo, Jr of Nanuet, NY, 73 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 1.
He was a giving and steadfast member of the community, serving as a Treasurer of the Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce for years as well as President of non-profit Nanuet and Beyond. His dedication and selflessness to the chamber, Nanuet businesses and its people are greatly appreciated. The impact he had on people’s lives and future generations is seen in the many initiatives and events around town and will continue to be felt for decades to come. His fierce spirit will not be forgotten.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 7 from 3 – 7pm with a memorial on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 11am, both at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Please donate to your favorite charity In lieu of flowers.
