COVID-19 RESOURCES

The Nanuet Chamber is here to help our businesses and local community during the COVID-19 health crisis.  In coordination wth our  charity, Nanuet and Beyond, Inc. we are raising money to provide food, snacks, etc to our tireless healthcare workers, first responders, etc.

We have set up the various Resource pages (links below) to provide information from health organizations to a list of local businesses/restaurants open for takeout and/or delivery.  We attempt to update these pages as we receive information. Please feel free to share and contact us with additional updates at info@nanuetchamber.com.

COVID-19 Health Updates – This page provides links to governmental and health agencies/websites/statistics that are being updated regularly.

NY State Business-Individual Updates – We are sharing information from multiple sources, many from the RBA regarding SBA, Empire State Development, Rockland County Economic Development, etc. regarding loans and paycheck protection programs, etc.

Reopening Clarkstown – Helpful Guide for Small Businesses – inlcudes links to a slide presentation and recorded Webinar presented on May 21 that included George Hoehmann, Town Supervisor; Leslie Kahn, Town Attorney; Erik Asheim, Town Building Inspector; Joe Simoes, Town Planner; Tom Morley, NY SBDC Rockland Regional Center; Susan Farese, Greater Nanuet Chamber; Roxanne Perrone, New City Chamber

Restaurants/Local Businesses Open — This list is updated as we are advised of businesses that are open in some way during this crisis. Please support them. If you know of additional businesses open, please let us know so we may update our lists.

Lawn Signs supporting our Healthcare and Essential Workers – Through our charity partner, Nanuet and Beyond, Inc. we are selling  24 x 18 double-sided Lawn Sign with a stake for your house or lawn.  Each sign is a tax-deductible donation of $20.

Request for Donations – Through our charity partner, Nanuet and Beyond, Inc. we are soliciting tax-deductible donations so we may continue to purchase food, snacks, etc for our front line workers. We are purchasing from local businesses as a way to help them also during this time of need.

As a community we are in this together.  Please follow the local guidelines, stay safe and healthy by taking the appropriate health and legally required precautions to protect yourself and our community.
