March 2014, Ed Day our newly elected County Executive spoke to our meeting and discussed the current state of Rockland County.
June 8, 2014, Nanuet’s first Street Fair, was an example of promoting local businesses (we had 10-12,000 people walk thru).
June 2014, the Nanuet Chamber awarded our first two $500 scholarships to two Nanuet High School seniors based on their applications involving community service
July 15, we held a joint chamber networking event at the Shops at Nanuet and despite the rain, we had over 130 attendees. Food was sponsored by all the local Shops at Nanuet restaurants.
September 23, Michael DiTullo, President of the Rockland Economic Development Corporation, kicked off our event year at a networking dinner event held at the Comfort Inn.
October 25th we held a Halloween Kids Event at the Shops at Nanuet
October 29th we held our first October-Fest! at the Ambulance Brew House on Main Street in Nanuet
November 19 we held a very successful Holiday Shopping Expo with Dessert Extravaganza!
December 5th, we accompanied Santa to the Shops at Nanuet (from 6-8 pm) as part of the Holiday lighting ceremony.
