Join us for our 5th Annual Art Walk and Exhibition Reception featuring art from students K-12 in the Nanuet Schools. This year’s theme is “Nanuet Values.”
This special event is held in partnership with the Nanuet School District’s Art Department.

Beginning March 15th and running through March 29th, approximately 100 works of art created by the Nanuet schools students will be displayed at shops and restaurants throughout Nanuet. (A list of locations will be noted here a few days before the art is displayed). On March 29th, the art will then be displayed in the area upstairs in the Shops between the movie theater and Macy’s on the evening of March 29th between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM.

Judging for the 2019 Art Event was done by practicing artists and educators…Judges, left to right…Colleen Vanderhoef (ceramics), Alice Mizrachi (muralist), Nina Jean Berlingeri (painter), Terry Mollo (stone sculptor), and Nanuet Chamber of Commerce member Linda Stankard, Event Chair.

On March 29, (6:30 PM – 8:30 PM) participating students will be honored with a reception and full exhibition at the Shops at Nanuet in the upper level between Macy’s and Regal Cinemas. The art was judged by local artists, sculptors and art teachers. Prizes will be awarded to the top artist in each category along with 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention prizes…PLUS a Grand Prize Winner!

Our prior events have been an enormous success with art from students in all grades and more than 150 people attend who view the beautiful artwork from 100 students. The event features food and goodies from area businesses and we are working to continue the tradition of having live entertainment from Nanuet High School students.
